Starting with a gently curved silhouette of majolica, our artisans adorn this versatile piece with a jubilant Wallcourt design. As many avid collectors know, the MacKenzie-Childs story began in a humble studio run out of the basement of a Wells College dormitory named Wallcourt. This designs is beloved for its bright colors in unpretentious designs of checks, squiggles, spots, and stripes, heaped with a healthy dose of fun. Hand-painted by the artisans on our Aurora farm, each brushstroke is clearly visible in the Wallcourt Flower Pot, and as a result the joy involved in their creation is immediately evident. Whether it's an extra chair or a spot to set a tray of mint juleps, this lovely, multipurpose piece is functional art at its best, indoors or out.
