Bossa Nova music had a cool sensibility that continues to influence jazz styles today. Just this sort of fresh innovation inspired our Bossa Nova Large Bombay, which lends a composed confidence to any room. Our artisans start with a grand hardwood frame and hand-apply a crisp white textured floral stencil on a fresh white base. Turning up the volume on drama, they next create a faux marble black top with unconventional tools including sponges and feathers. Trimmed with hand-painted Courtly Checks and Stripes with textured Courtly Stripe side panels, accented with door knobs, and brass stampings, gold leaf on the front feet and decorated drawer interiors, this Bombay has all the style and staying power of a jazz legend. Each is hand-painted inside and out by our master artisans and no two are exactly the same.
