Designer

High energy, spirited designer sought to work in a highly unique and creative design studio for a manufacturer of luxury tableware and home furnishings. This position will be at the studio located at our headquarters in Aurora, New York in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Designer must have a playful and wholesome imagination and must possess knowledge of working in a broad range of materials. Product and home furnishings design experience is a plus. Surface pattern design and a strong understanding of color is essential. Successful candidate must be a highly organized, efficient, focused, detailed professional with the ability to work well with others. BA Fine Arts, painting expertise preferred, Photo Shop, Illustrator, CAD experience required.

Slip Cast Clay Finisher - regular full time position

Reports to Clay Forming Supervisor / Ceramic Production Planner. Responsible to trim, assemble and press a variety of slip forms maintaining quality and production standards. May assemble and finish clay product using a variety of hand tools using care in handling of ware. Must be flexible in accepting work assignments and able to work in a team environment. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. High school diploma or GED required.

Customer Service Rep - temporary seasonal position

Reports to Call Center Manager. Support the seasonal catalog drops and web customers by taking orders and answering customer concerns over the phone. Must be interested in our customer’s experience and satisfaction. Day, evening and weekend hours available. Requires the use of a telephone, computer keyboard and screen. High school diploma or GED required.

Pottery Decoration - regular full time position

Reports to Pottery Supervisor. Work with supervisor, trainer and quality control to achieve quality decorated pottery in an efficient manner, recognizing harmony in color and proportion. Must possess good brush skills as well as the ability to work with different mediums. Position requires attention to detail and a willingness and desire to accept and learn from others. Requires a positive attitude, and the flexibility to train in various pottery decoration departments. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. while using proper lifting techniques, sit for long periods of time and bend and reach for objects often. Requires a High School diploma or GED.

Textiles - regular full time position

Reports to the Furniture Planner and Production Supervisor. Must be experienced with sewing or upholstery work. Experience with crafts or handwork preferable. Ability to use hand tools essential. Requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to lift 40 lbs using proper lifting technique. High school diploma or GED required.

Furniture Decorator - regular full time position

Reports to the Furniture Planner and Production Supervisor. Must be experienced with sewing or upholstery work. Experience with crafts or handwork preferable. Ability to use hand tools essential. Requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to lift 40 lbs using proper lifting technique. High school diploma or GED required.

Wholesale Customer Service Rep - regular full time position

Reports to the Wholesale Sales rep. Responsible for order entry and customer service calls from our wholesale accounts, wholesale order tracking and administrative backup of the Wholesale Sales Representative position. Demonstrated customer service skills essential. Computer keyboard experience required. Ecometry experience strongly preferred, but will train. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Work requires strong attention to detail and follow through. High School or GED required, with advanced coursework or training in a related field strongly preferred.
